A Year Of Dates
A Year of Dates started in September 2016 with our date jars and boxes; we’re all busy, this a fun way to bring some excitement and romance to your life. The rules are simple – choose an envelope to open every week and follow the instructions!
We have gifts for those BIG birthdays with our 30 and 40 boxes – the idea is to make memories and have adventures throughout the year with family and friends.
For families, there is A Year of Play; aimed at children aged 5-12, the cards are to help find things you can all do together come rain or shine. Split between indoors and outdoors we hope they inspire. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook.
Buttonbag is the UK’s leading craft company for children’s sewing, knitting and making kits. We have easy-peasy starter kits for little fingers – think dinosaurs, elephants and hippos with pre-punched holes, and big plastic needles, and cute collectible designs for older children such as our Unicorn or Foxy Scarf knitting kits.
The Buttonbag motto is CreateTime and we believe making things is really important for learning; not just fine-motor skills, although it’s great for that too – but to give children the sense of making their mark on the world. That’s why all our kits have been designed to empower children to say, “Look what I made.”

The Sambo Scribbles
Around two years ago I took pen to paper and started to draw as a way to be mindful and induce calm. My style evolved as did the awareness of my artwork and voila my brand was born. The Sambo Scribbles.
Each design is meticulously drawn by hand using fineliners to create mandala inspired designs within the bold borders. I’m often told what a unique style of work I have. I love nothing more than to get lost in one of my pieces and spend many hours on each one. I love the diversity my style allows – cute characters for kids, pet portraits, flora, animals, foodstuffs…the list is endless.
When I’m not scribbling away I’m being Mummy to my daughter Beatrix and am an active member of the Hitchin Art Hub where I exhibit alongside other artists, and raise money for charity.
