Three weeks until Christmas!
December is always a super busy month in our household. It’s hubby’s birthday, Christmas, and then my birthday. So we are going to be flat out (and a bit broke), but I do love it. Our tree is up and I’m starting to feel pretty Christmassy.
Are you following our countdown on ‘Tips to get organised for Christmas’? If you are, hopefully you’re feeling fairly calm and organised, and maybe just a teeny bit smug. If you haven’t read it yet, please check it out and it may just help you with all those important preparations.
Are you looking forward to the school holidays?
I love the fact that we don’t need to rush out the door in the mornings. At the same time, I often find the lack of routine during school holidays quite difficult, as I heavily rely on that to make it successfully through the day.
I think I need to learn to let go of that this Christmas, and try to relax and enjoy myself! I hope you can too!
It’s always harder to find me-time during school holidays but it’s still really important. Check out our tips on how to recharge in 20 minutes, just in case you do manage to find a little time just for you.
Coming up on the blog
This month, we’re continuing our theme of getting you ready for winter, as well as celebrating all things festive and Christmassy, to help get you in the mood.
We’ll be sharing more of the fabulous businesses in our Directory with you, to help inspire your Christmas gifts. Hopefully we can encourage you to shop local and shop small when you can.
We have a few guest posts on their way too before the end of the year, sharing expert advice on winter health, nutrition and wellbeing, and winter skincare, as well as an inspirational piece from an amazing entrepreneur that I admire very much.
Cheers to us
Here’s to enjoying ourselves and learning to relax! Happy Christmas lovelies, cheers to us.
