Winter is on its way
So the clocks went back. How was it for you? Did you enjoy a lovely extra hour of uninterrupted sleep?? No? Yeah, neither did we.
We made a rookie mistake here and completely forgot to change our son’s Gro Clock. Argh. We changed all the others but overlooked the most important one! I considered sneaking in and trying to change it in the middle of the night but I decided against it. So no lie-in for us. Maybe next year. (Seriously, when do children start to sleep in? Can someone enlighten me please?)
Bye bye bikinis, hello warm slippers
Now that British Summer Time is officially over (sob), it’s time to pack away those bikinis, hunker down, and get ready for those cosy winter nights. I’m not a fan of the dark mornings but I do love those warm snuggly evenings at home. I’m such a dressing gown, comfy slippers and hot chocolate kinda gal!
