The prize
The Buttonbag Unicorn Scarf Knit Kit is suitable for ages 8+. The scarf is knitted in simple garter stitch which makes it suitable for all levels, even beginners.

The kit comes with full instructions, bamboo needles, chunky yarn, and a plastic needle for making up.

The Unicorn Scarf Knit Kit is perfect for those just getting started with knitting. It would be a great activity to do together over half term.

My daughter loves Halloween and just turned 8. Trick or treat is huge where we live so we craft a lot fornit. This year’s Halloween crafting has started by making a massive cardboard bat, wrapping up her baby doll in bandages to mummify it, and creating some orange crepe-paper window covers with silhouettes of a cat, a pumping on (they look great with the light shining behind them).
My daugthter loves crafting of any kind and colouring to relax.

Something we ve done in the last few years, in as the leaves fall we ve collected large leaves and cut animal shapes, and decorated the toy shed, they love leaf collecting and gruffalo hunting with their dad too.
